These terms govern your use of this website. They are not a substitute for your project contract — the work we do for you is governed by the written proposal and contract you sign, and where the two differ, the contract controls.
Using This Website
The content here is provided for general information about our services. Roofing, gutter, siding and masonry work is building-specific, and nothing on this site should be treated as a professional assessment of your particular property. For that, book a free on-site estimate.
Estimates and Quotes
- Estimates are free and carry no obligation.
- An estimate is based on what is visible and accessible at the time of inspection. Conditions concealed beneath existing roofing — most commonly deck rot — cannot be priced until the covering is removed, and any allowance for that will be stated in the written estimate.
- Prices quoted are valid for the period stated on the estimate. Material costs move, and beyond that period we may need to re-quote.
- A quote becomes binding only when a written contract is signed by both parties.
Scheduling and Weather
Start dates given at signing are estimates. Roofing is weather-dependent, and we will not open a roof we cannot make watertight the same day. We will keep you informed if weather moves your date.
Permits
Where a permit is required, we obtain it and schedule the required inspections unless the contract states otherwise.
Payment
We accept cash, checks, debit & credit cards. Payment terms and any staged schedule are set out in your contract.
Warranties
Workmanship warranty terms are stated in your written contract. Materials carry the manufacturer's own warranty, which is granted by the manufacturer rather than by us, and which generally requires correct installation — one of the reasons we install to specification rather than to the shortest possible schedule.
Intellectual Property
The content, photographs, logo and design of this website belong to Luna's Roofing Service PC and may not be reproduced without permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Illinois law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
